Westwood Wanderers celebrate every year with an end of season annual presentation day.
This is the only day of the year when we manage to get every player,manager and member of the club all in the same place during the day.
Its not your average award ceremony!! We have a BBQ ,bar picnic areas and football pitches set up.
One of our favourite things is to see all the players mixing together in the green and white hoops.
The older players love joining in with the little ones and genuinely enjoy letting them score!!
Normally we expect to see over 1500 people on the day all having a fun and relaxing time.
The club award every player for their efforts during the season with a trophy along with also awarding 4 extra awards for individual team members.
The awards are:
MANAGERS PLAYER
This award is picked by the manager and awarded to the player they feel has had the best attitue both on and off the pitch during the season.
PLAYERS PLAYER
This award is given to the player that all the other members of the squad have voted for due to their performance on the pitch during the season.
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER
This award is voted for by the coaching team to the player they feel has improved both on the pitch and attitude off it during the course of the season.
PARENTS PLAYER
Voted for by the parents for their performances throughout the season.

With over 500 trophies to hand out the day is run to a strict timetable with each team given 15 minute slot.
Tradition is a massive part of the award ceremony with historically the Chairman of the club handing out every individual award to every player and thanking them personally for their efforts.

Every player is also given a season yearbook with information about every team that represented the club over the course of the season.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SHOOT
After the award ceremony the players are then taken off for their very own photo shoot!!
Every player is photographed by the Club legends team and all pictures are avilable to purchase at a later date.
